Stone Country: Country Artists Perform the Songs of the Rolling Stones Stone Country: Country Artists Perform the Songs of the Rolling Stones Customer Review: Recommendable
Fine Rolling Stones tribute album. Various country bands play well known Stones songs. Most I like “Honky Tonk Women” by Travis Tritt, “Paint It Black” by Tracy Lawrence, “The Last Time” by The Tractors, “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” by Rodney Crowell and “Brown Sugar” by Collin Raye.

Customer Review: Fun and Forgettable
I love the Rolling Stones, and I have long been amused by their reverance for American country music. I’d like to have a CD of Stones tunes in which the country element shines through, such as “Virginia” and “Honky Tonk Women” and “Country Honk.”

Le Divorce: The Original Soundtrack Album Le Divorce: The Original Soundtrack Album Customer Review: EXCELLENT CD
Don’t be fooled by the soundtrack listing nor by the other reviews. There are “hidden” tracks on this CD. I mainly bought it for Qu’est-ce qu’on attend pour tre heureux. I wasn’t thrilled by some of the score, but overall it’s a good CD.
Customer Review: The Sexiest Soundtrack of 2003 and 2004!
Great score, for it has the French charm score in it. The score and the music makes you think of France and it makes you wonder how it is like (if you have never been there) and I haven’t been to France, but this soundtrack boosted my idea of wanting to go to France. Richard Robbins made a clear and focused score that reflects Paris, France. This is great music to listen to if you’re just strolling the cobblestone streets of a village and simply to just relax to. This is recommended!

50 Licks Country Style 50 Licks Country Style Customer Review: Excellent catalog of country guitar licks
I am a long time blues and rock player that wants to learn country. I saw this DVD in my local music store for $15 and never having heard of Troy, thought I’d take a chance. Of all the books and videos that I have bought over the years, this is among the very best. The licks are great, the audio, video, and camera work is excellent, and the presentation by the Troy is just great. The level of difficulty is definitely in the low to mid intermediate range but the licks are absolutely top notch. Whether you are a gifted picker or a newbie, there is a lot of great material here. Hats off the Troy Dexter for an excellent instructional video. Highly recommended.

My Country/That Old Feeling

My Country/That Old Feeling My Country/That Old Feeling Customer Review: Let Brook Carry You Off To Dreamland
Brook Benton is one of the best interpreters of romantic ballads that I have ever heard. These two albums, recorded in the mid sixties for RCA Victor, more than justifies that assertion. For the first album, “My Country,” Brook sings twelve country love songs with pop orchestrations and arrangements by Anita Kerr. You will be amazed at how different they sound from their original versions. His heartfelt rendition of “Have I Told You Lately that I Love You” is just remarkable. The second album, “That Old Feeling,” is even better and, most likely, my favorite album of his. Brook croons a dozen pop standards backed by the lush sound of a string orchestra conducted by Glenn Osser. His rich, seductive baritone caresses every song, converting every one into a classic of its own. “That Old Feeling,” “Blue Moon,” “My Darling, My Darling,” every track is flawless. The set closes with his warm, incomparable rendition of “Moon River” which, for me, is the definitive version of the Henry Mancini classic. So, put out the lights, close your eyes, and be swept away by the beautiful voice of Brook Benton.

Country Classics Country Classics Customer Review: I looove this CD Compilation
I am a big Don Williams fan and have listened to his music (on tapes)since i was in my teens back in Africa. When i got to the US i wanted to build my collection of his CDs and i was finding it hard to get his tracks he recorded with MCA but when i saw this CD it was like my prayers had been answered. If you love excellent country music, this is a must have. It is so soothing, melodious and mature. If there was a rating higher than 5 stars, i’d give it to this CD.

Just a Li’l Bit Country

Just a Lil Bit Country Just a Li’l Bit Country Customer Review: Just a Lil bit awful
…and not all that country, given the clutch of Millie-written songs in the middle and the baffling choice of Neil Diamond’s “Love On The Rocks” (done better on a live album). This should have been an Etta-style classic, but sounds like a rush job and cash-in/Maybe download “Till I Get It Right” and be done with it.
Customer Review: Millie is versatility plus
Millie Jackson outdoes herself on this one and only country music sung by a true soul diva. Here, the songs are absent of her usual raunchiness but never the less her deep, soulfull voice belts out these country classsics which remind one of the blues.

This c.d. is a don’t miss for those Millie J. collectors.

The Melba Montgomery CD arrived on schedule. The price was excellent for a new CD that is almost impossible to find anywhere else. Great service!
Customer Review: Cheap price, cheap recordings
From the graphics on this cd, you might get the impression that these are the original recordings of the songs. However, these are post-1970’s re-recordings.
